Funk Fest Atlanta returned to Wolf Creek Ampitheatre with a jam packed lineup that filled up the weekend from August 18th to the 19th. The weather was beautiful as the ladies kicked off the weekend's activity on Friday with Sunshine Anderson, Keke Wyatt, Marsha Ambrosius, and Ella Mai. Marsha Ambrosius filled in for Jazmine Sullivan, who had to cancel because of the untimely death of her mother. Thoughts and prayers were there for Jazmine as each artist gave their condolences to her on stage.
Even though the weather was hotter on Saturday, the performers brought the heat that day starting with Tela. Bad Boy Crooner Carl Thomas followed with all his hits including "Summer Rain", "Emotional" and "I Wish". Juvenile got the crowd amped up with the party starter anthem "Back That Azz Up".
