Celebrating it's 25th year of promoting concerts across the country, Funk Fest returned to Atlanta with another exciting two day event. Howard University favorite alums, Shai, started off the weekend with their hits including the all time 90's favorite ballad, "If I Ever Fall in Love".
Ladies in attendance were treated to their favorite crooners back to back with Jon B, Carl Thomas, Donell Jones, and Stokley of Mint Condition. The Isley Brothers, Ronald and Ernie ended the night with a two hour set spanning their illustrious career of decades of timeless music.

Concertgoers had to make sure they stayed hydrated at the beginning of Day Two festivities with temperatures close to 100 degrees. Funk Fest put the Hot in Hotlanta with sets from The Youngbloodz, Goodie Mob, and Big Boi. Closing out the weekend was the much anticipated performance by Neo Soul Legend Erykah Badu.
"We try to get artists from different genres that can appeal to any age of the audience. Your grandma can come see the Isley's to your younger family members can come see Goodie Mob.
